I just received a new turbocharger in for my 1993-1995 nissan rb25det engine.
It came covered in sand, oil, and some white power.
Also some rust on the outside of the exhaust housing. The rest still looks good. Production had stopped a long time ago.
The price went up to 1870 plus shipping after my order for a 14411-21U02 charger assembly from nissan Multiple other chargers were out of stock I tried to order before, finally this time I got approved.
What do you assume from this? What would you do?

If I were to purchase a part like a turbocharger, I would want the part to be undamaged with nothing on it.
Where did you purchase this part from?
Nissan epc data - amayama.com - from the yokohama plant
They definately didn't know there was surface corrosion. the Package had rust where the wrap got stuck to it.
