Hello
What are non related to cooling system problems that would make a car overheat?
There are none. The cooling system keeps the engine from overheating.
What if the cooling system is fine but still the engine is overheating
If the engine is overheating, the cooling system is not fine.
Do you want to tell us what's really going with your car, or are we just going to talk about imaginary things?
Actually it's a home work🤣🤣the question says give 5 factors for engines to overheat that have nothing to do with a bad cooling system, i only managed to find 3 🤷♂️
what are your three?
- lack of lubricant
- a bad headgasket
- a bad cat
hmm. I like #1 Good answer.
I would consider #2 to be a failed cooling system.
#3, I had a bad cat and the engine didn't overheat.
If the mixture is too lean, the combustion will run hotter. The engine might not boil over, but it could cause some damage.
True
I found'em online, as u said only the first one makes sense
I can't wait to see the correction of the homework
I worked on fiesta a month ago, it was running lean the whole time, still didn't have any overheating problems
Over-revving an engine would create a lot of heat from friction.
That's a good one too, i'll add it
