My 95 5.8 ford bronco randomly slips in and out of overdrive. Just replaced the transmission and reprogrammed the motherboard.  Any ideas what could be causing this?

The clutches for the lockup maybe worn out. Is your fluid at the proper level. It could also be a issue with the torque converter/ clutches. Maybe something with the impellers. It's hard to say without having it in front of me. I would first check fluid and inspect the torque converter. Is the transmission used, remanufactured or new
