2012 Chrysler 300c 5.7 hemi. 104,000 miles. Friend has been having an overheating issue. They have done water pump, radiator, thermostat. The hoses all seem fine but it seems that its losing coolant and they cant find a leak. If there even is one as my trust in his mechanic has dwindled the past couple days as he continues to just throw parts at it. Any ideas ?

Check for a head gasket leak. Initial overheating may have had a different cause and resulted in a blown gasket.

If they were going to throw parts at it, atleast start with the cheap/simple stuff first -
