Hello Scotty, happy holidays. I have a 2000 Honda Accord 2.3 4Cyl 5 speed. The car recently overheated and started to have slight knock and my CEL started to flash. I checked my oil and I have no coolant in it as I’ve recently had a flush done and had it replaced. What I do notice is that my fans aren’t working either which is what I believe caused it to over heat. Do you believe I can get the head gasket changed out along with the thermostat with hopes of it still running? I have no leaks or anything and the knock is not horrendous I don’t hear anything clanking around but still there. Thank you Scotty

Oh well, 23 years was a pretty good run. If the engine is knocking in that thing it's time to look for another car.
