Hey Scotty, I have 2001 honda civic lx 1.7L 4 cylinder, I had a code for P1457 EVAP leak canister, I replaced the valve shutoff which from what I searched it was the most common problem, but after been replaced 2 days later the light came back on, the cap was replaced as well. There is any chance that the canister may be bad too?

It could be that but it could be a leak anywhere in the system it's a very long system going from the gas tank all the way to the front of the engine. Most mechanics use a smoke machine to try to find the leak
