Hello scotty thank your for all your videos on YouTube
Now to my question.
I have a 2002 Honda CR-V EX Automatic all wheel drive
I keep getting 3 codes I've keep taking it in to the shop and I already spent $2500.00 to try to figure this out.
I have replaced the Intake Air Control twice then I have had the shop replace the Air Intake, a pvc, connectors on the wires, they even adjusted idle and ran man diagnostic test and its to the point I feel they are just saying this and that to make me pay for items.
QUESTION: COULD THE P1457 CODE POSSIBLY FIX ALL OF THE CODES?
I SEEN ONE OF THE SYMPTOM IS A ROUGH IDLE....I READ THAT A BAD EVAP CANISTER CAN CAUSE A POOR AIR/FUEL MIXTURE AND I SEEN THAT COUD BE A KNOCK SENSOR SYMPTOM?
WHAT WOULD U DO OR RECOMMEND?
P0505 This system automatically controls engine idle speed to a specified level. Idle speed
P1457 Evap Emissions Control System Leakage Evap canister system
P0325 The knock sensor (KS) senses engine knocking (also known as detonation)
Thank you or your time in this.
I would start with a knock sensor myself unless you have a large evap leak that is going to make them run that bad
Thank you scotty I've replaced the knock sensor and and IAC and no change. What would u consider next? I read that the shut off valve on the canister is a known factor but im not sure... I dont have a smoke machine to test it either....
Any extra help would be greatful.
