Hello, I recently purchased a 2005 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. The Ac barely works when I switch the blend door actuator to cold instead of hot. I tried ACpro and the gauge on the bottle said it was full of refrigerant.
Sometimes if I mess with the BDA it will blow cold for a little bit then eventually start blowing engine warm heat. Thinking about taking it to a shop but thought I’d ask you first. Thanks Scotty! -Charles SA Texas
You say you used a can you bought from the autostore. Did you get the readings from the gauges or was yours gaugeless? High side, low side pressure readings can point to a specific problem. It's good that you plan to bring it to a mechanic, Backyard AC work is dangerous. Have you checked simple stuff first? Air filter and all that?
