Scotty - my wife has a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE V-6 - automatic trans with about 110,000 miles. I have been a Toyota guy since 1976 and do most of my own work. Trying to change the plugs but the one closest to the firewall is a real challenge. Bringing it to the dealership costs and arm an a leg plus your first born. Any ideas on getting the last plug out that does not involve my arm and a shrink ray?
Thanks!
The V6 engines are a serious pain to change the plugs out. Lots of videos on Youtube about this. Check 'em out.
I did this on my daughter's 2013 Avalon. Not hard, just follow his instructions.
Thanks - I watched this one and it is much better than most!
I'm not sure about this vehicle , but when I had a transverse V6, I could undo the motor mounts, and the whole thing could rotate towards the front to access the rear cylinders.
