I have a 2004 gmc yukon xl 5.3 engine. When ever im at a stand still at a red light or sometimes in park my engine seems to want to turn off. rmp needle goes down then goes up rough idling check engine light came on with code for evap system changed purge solenoid vent solenoid gas cap. Help please.

Well, if you're just guessing with the evap system you need to have a smoke machine hooked up to find out if they're still our leak. Somewhere. A vacuum leak will cause a car install an idle
