Power steering

I have an 09 mercury sable. a week ago the steering wheel had a bit of a catch to it in some spots of turning the wheel. so i had the power steering pump replaced with a remanufactured pump. the steering seemed alot better than before, but then a week after it got changed, the steering started to get stiff spots in it while turning like before. could it be a bad remanufacture part or a bad rack?

Your rebuilt pump was faulty.

This is why Scotty always recommends buying a brand new power steering pump. The rebuilt ones are too much of a gamble..
