Found a 2014 Scion xB for $5,500 with 110xxx miles from a private seller. Talked to the guy and knocked $1,000 off. Probably will try to get another $2-300 off while seeing it. I am going with a mechanic to see it, however is this a decent deal?

Thats a great deal in fact getting another 2-3k off would be a rip off for the seller the value of that thing is $6k and I'd shoot for $5k and you already are down below that if its in good shape I'd buy it.

Awesome thanks. By 2-300 I meant 2 or 300 dollars more off so if the mechanic says it's good then I'd perhaps purchase.

Oh ok I misread I was like your trying to knock 90% of the price off that sounds like a good idea if a mechanic gives the go ahead SNATCH IT UP.

It's a good deal. I think what the owner didn't understand is that Scions are Toyotas. Everything is made by Toyota.

if the car is in good shape, then yeah I'd say it's a decent deal. Hopefully others with more Scion knowledge can weigh in here.
