Hi - Im 69, 24 yr. vet, gluten for more punishment so worked another 10 yrs as govt. civilian. Probably had 80 cars, but believe it or not, never had to install new oil pump in any of them. Bought shaft tool to attach to drill, to prime pump, do u go clockwise or counterclockwise during rotation, and for how long? Second question - On one of Scotty's favorite cars - 2008 Audi A4 2.0T. Bought replacement CVT transmission out of 2009 recycler says it will work, Question - Can i take the TCM out of my 2008 and put in the 2009 CVT? 2008 and 2009 TCM's have different part numbers. I know Mercedes mechanics do this, to trick the cars computer, into thinking its the same years transmission. Thanks Billy Ray
Distributor goes counter clockwise so drill same direction. A minute should prime it enough
Yeah do the drill counterclockwise let's try the Audi I doubt that it would work Audis are insane monstrosities and you swapping at CVT transmission I'm sure tons of things will not fit and will not work correctly plus the car would not start either because there's anti-theft system in the computer that would have to be reprogrammed
