Problems after a Heavy Load??

Hi guys

got a 2000 Toyota Ipsum Petrol 2.0 Auto 

Collected a heavy load of bricks yesterday was a short journey, got in the car this morning and wouldn’t start, you could hear the car tick over but wouldn’t start. Can anyone help, battery seems ok.

Tick as in you heard a clicking sound from the starter? Have the alternator checked, it's probably not charging. 

Is petrol gasoline or diesel?

@RussellJKelly81.... Petrol is what we call gasoline on this side of the pond.
