I have 2017 Mercedes C300 and owner's manual says when filling with regular gas, fill half full on regular gas then fill the rest with premium gas, but can I fill the whole tank with just pure regular gas?
Update: I know plus gas is mix of regular and premium, but I'm asking if I could just put regular gas since it requires premium
Why not just buy "plus" gas, which is a blend of 50/50 premium and regular?
Page 354 of your car owners manual:
Only refuel using unleaded premium grade gasoline with at least 91 AKI/95 RON.
Only use premium. Most Mercedes do not like anything under 91. Using to low of a octane can cause pinging, pre-detonation. It can damage your emissions system and or engine. If you decide to use plus make sure you pay attention to how it sounds and drive. If you hear any pinging or change in performance use higher Octane.

I agree with Chuck. It would be a pain in the butt filling with half of one, then the other.
I have a 2000 S500 and I always put 91 octane and above in it per my owners manual. If you don't you are asking for trouble.
