Hi, Scotty my name is Patrick Collins. I’m located in California in the SB county. I own a 2004 Chevy trailblazer ls with the 4.2 vortec inline 6 motor. It has 215,000 miles on it. Bought it from a good friend a year ago salvage. Anyways, I got into a major accident and it left the truck with a busted radiator bent radiator support and my wheel got pushed back a bit on the passenger side it bent my bumper support in too a little . That’s stuff I can fix. The problem is when I jacked it up to look at the suspension I noticed that I can turn the steering wheel to the right all the way and the wheels will turn with it, on the other hand when I straighten the wheels out and try to turn it to the left it won’t budge neither will the wheel I don’t know what’s wrong and I’m stuck I’m going to fix this monster it’s my very first car and I’m not giving up easily I will spend the money to fix it but I want to do it myself first can you tell me what’s wrong I can send pictures of the wreck. Thank you Scotty I watch you every morning and night and I usually binge watch with snacks.

Honestly, get a repair estimate from a reputed front end shop. If it exceeds the value of your vehicle, stop right there.

There’s no saying what all problems you’ll face in future, post the wreck damage repair.

It sounds like it is damaged beyond what it is worth. Especially being a salvage title.

I would junk it, but if you want to take it to a reputable shop for an estimate feel free. Those don't sound like DIY problems.

You might be right😞 and I did call a shop this morning they said I’d have to bring it in and see I think ima do that and if it can’t be fixed ima buy a new one

Sorry man. I hate to tell people those kinds of things, but if your money is better spent elsewhere it may be wise to move on.
