Is Ford stopping customers from selling their cars?

Is ford stopping customers from selling there cars especially electric vehicles?

If you own ford you have to own for for two or three years before selling is it ?

Is it true ?

From what I read it’s a clause (and dealer has to agree to it) whereby the owner of the new EV pickup truck the Ford Lightning has to hold onto it for at least one year (i.e. they cannot sell it within a year).  Ford wants to mitigate people from flipping these cars.  It’s not a set in stone requirement, however, so we will see where this goes:

That is specific to the Lightning. They did the same thing for the Ford GT.
