2012 Honda Accord LX-P

Initial diagnosis power steering pump since power steering reservoir keeps leaking. Replaced pump.

Leak still occuring. Told both hoses (return hose and the other one). Replaced both. Still leaking. 🙄

Told its the rack & pinion. Replaced that one year ago. Now told rack & pinion are leaking again. 😲

I keep buying power steering fluid because that moaning noise occurs as soon as I start up the car and drive off. You can also hear a noise from the rack while I'm driving. ☹️

I'm not a mechanic. It seems when I bring my car in, it's the service techs that are in control and I can't get a resolution. Don't mechanics bring the customer back to the car and show them where the leak is and then what needs to be done?

It is likely the rack. And forget any warranties. I am the original owner. Is it common for a rack to leak again within a year of being replaced? How do you determine where the leak is?

I want to keep my Honda.

Rex often leak after being replaced because they are not new racks they are reconditioned racks and once they are worn they generally don't last that long they just put new seals on them the shafts will be worn so the new seals will wear out faster because of the Warren shafts

You need to get under the car and REALLLY see where its leaking. By buddys 07 accord V6 had the steel PS line rust under one of the clamps that held it to the cross member, New England salt car. Was a bitch to replace but no more leak.

Try to find a steering rack with a limited lifetime warranty or some kind of warranty.  Are you going to a dealer or an independent mechanic?
