I'm looking to replace my factory radio with a touchscreen radio. I looked at the cars radio harness and the adapter harness are not the same color. Since it's a adapter, should I worry about it being different colors than the harness that's in the car.

Well, you don't care what colors they are as long as they plug in and the wires go to the same place. That's the problem though often you can't find in adapter. That's correct. I've got cars that I gave up. I spent months sometimes even years trying to find adapters for my wife's Lexus but no one sold the right ones. They said they did no one I got them. None of them plugged in right?
