Hello, I have a 2007 Toyota RAV4 Limited V6 with the automatic dual climate controls. It only blows air out of the dash vents regardless of what mode that is selected. It won't blow air onto the windshield or the floor. I put the climate control into diagnostics mode and it displayed codes 21 and 24 which refer to the driver and passenger solar sensors not communicating. Would this prevent the vent controls to stop working or is it unrelated? Any help would be greatly appreciated on figuring this out. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the specific codes of your climate control system's self-diagnostics. But yes, it is possible those communications codes are preventing the climate control system from operating correctly. Modules (or sensors) which won't communicate with each other can prevent other functions from occurring. It's not the codes themselves that are at issue, it's the underlying issue that needs to be resolved.
