Hi, my rav4 2007 had a steering wheel catching or stucked feel fee times when turning to right in roundabout and it feels like wheel is not turning at all for split second. Could you please tell me what might be the issue?
Has the vehicle had any steering or suspension work done recently which required a wheel alignment? I ask because there's a technical service bulletin saying a zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor and/or the steering angle sensor should be performed afterwards.

@oskool no nothing about suspension/ steering done recently.
Check your steering and front suspension components for wear, and the fluid level in your power steering.
@chucktobias I couldn’t find the power steering fluid chamber, do you know where is it placed in rav4 2007? It would be great help.

A quick internet search revealed that RAV4 is equipped with Electric Power Steering (EPS) beginning in 2006 with the 3rd generation. So your vehicle does not have power steering fluid, therefore it doesn’t have a reservoir.
@avalon04 Thanks for the correction. I had checked rockauto.com and they list a power steering pump for 2007 RAV4 but their database, while extensive, is not always 100% accurate. (I should have looked further, for steering racks they show electronic power steering.)
@chucktobias Thanks, Chuck. I hesitated to respond to the OP out of concern that I may appear to be correcting you (which was not my intent) but I was reading this post at about 3 in the morning here in California and was curous to know the answer and once finding out I thought that if I posted it, it would help the OP and also you would not have spend time searching (plus I couldn't go back to sleep and it gave me something to do). I actually made mention of "a quick internet search" to try to convey to the OP that they coud have done the same. Well, anyhoo it was good to see Homer and get a chuckle.
@avalon04 No biggie, none of us are perfect here! I certainly don't know it all and probably put a little too much faith in the rockauto.com database to quickly check how a particular model is equipped. The beauty of this site though is that we have a pretty large brain trust to draw from and usually if something is in error someone will catch it. Good work!
