Hi Scotty. I have a 2006 rav4 with 177,000 miles. The drivers airbag and the 4wd light have come on. The mechanic says it is a clock spring fo the airbag and wants 500+ to fix. They say it needed rear diff service that was 50 bucks so i did it. Both light are still on. My cheap code reader says there are no error codes. What could be the issue? Thank you. John G
well I didn't quite understand but if you paid the guy the 500 bucks for the clock spring and it didn't fix it get your money back from the guy doesn't know what the heck he's doing and go to a guy who really understands airbag systems.they're very complex and require Toyota dealer level scan tools and the ability to do bi-directional testing
