I’m torn between 2 trucks and I need some advice on which one you would get if you were in my situation. To be clear right away, I’ve had both trucks checked out thoroughly and both have gotten a clean bill of health.
1st truck is a 1999 F250 7.3 w/ 233k. Original motor, automatic (tranny was rebuilt @ 150k). He wants $11k I’ve got him down to $8k.
2nd truck is a 2010 Ram 2500 6.7 w/ 190k, manual. He wants $19k I have him down to $16k.
IF it was you deciding between these 2 trucks which one are you going with? I’m buying one of the 2 for sure just want to ask and see which one y’all would choose.

both are good engines but i would go ford
my BIL had that engine and loved it, someone even stole it from the shop, must be good

Well they are pretty well bullet proof motors and if I was going to gamble I'd like to do it for the least amount of money possible. Plus it's just hard for me to trust a Ram, even though I do like those trucks. In the back of my mind I think id always be expecting something to break.
