Engine lacks power

Hey Scotty hope you can help with a weird problem
I have a 2008 Ford Escape XLT AWD with 237,000 km
when I start it it runs nice after I put it in drive
it loses power and runs like it is running out of gas
I can't even explain what it feels like when I push on
the brake pedal kind of like the brakes are trying to
eat the rotors, I plugged in my fixed code reader and
it gave me 2 codes one was for a front left wheel sensor
and the other was for a Fuel Rail Injection Pressure Sensor
I replaced both parts and also put on a new fuel filter
but nothing helped it did clear the those lights, but
what's really weird when I accelerate if I push the gas
down to quickly I lose pretty much all power like it's
out of gas or the engine stalled, but if I push the pedal
down slowly it spits and sputters like it is running out of
gas. but after 10 or 15 seconds of going slow the ABS light
and Traction light both come on the the truck runs and drives like it has
no problems at all I tried plugging my scanner in with the
abs and traction light on and the scanner says no problems detected
after I shut the truck of for 2 seconds or 2 days as soon as I
start I go through it all again until the abs and traction
lights come on. Do you have any idea what may cause this?

thanks in advance Scottie in Canada

Maybe your fuel pressure sensor was telling you that you have no fuel pressure.  That may give you that, "out of gas" feeling.  Did the code go away after changing the pressure sensor?

brakes are trying to
eat the rotors

If it sounds like grinding noise, then you need a brake job.
