My buddy bought a truck today, and I had to drive it to his property for him, and when I put it in reverse and started backing up, the rear tires started slipping even without my foot touching the accelerator. Feels like a rear differential issue. Would it be a specific part in the rear differential you could just replace or should he just replace the whole rear differential itself?
you mean it started peeling out? at idle?
that sounds like a tires issue or maybe high idle.
