rear differential f150

I heard a humming noise in my f150 while driving 44k miles. 20 mph or faster I could hear it, while pressing the gas I could hear the noise. I took my truck to ford due to it being under warranty thinking this was the wheel bearings. Ford advised I have water in my rear differential and gear box but all the seals and parts are solid and no leaking. How can this happen? ford advised me this is not covered under warranty and I have to go through insurance. Thank you

Well if you ever did go through water there is a vent in the rear differential and the vent will let water get into the system and it will destroy it. Now. I don't trust dealer so you might get a second opinion but if it does have water in it it is shocked and if you were in flood water your insurance would have to pay for it
