Master Kilmer,  I'd be interested in some feedback on good aftermarket part brands for various parts and consumable types.  Maybe a 2022 Holy Grail  video  going through the dominant parts (particularly) consumables and supplie systematicallly  by vehicle section (Engine, Brakes, Suspension  etc) (one or more videos)??   Brake pads, rotors,   plugs,  wires,  tires, oil/air/fuel filters,  shocks, struts ,  fluids, oxygen sensors (my nemesis),  batteries,  wiper blades. and when does the Scotty Kilmer national mobile mechanic road trip start??

Not an all inclusive list, but some of the brands I trust: Aisin, Denso, NKG, KYB.

You meant NGK right?

Yes. NGK!

Wix for filters

Moog for chassis or suspension

National or Timken for bearings

Fel-Pro or Mahle for gaskets

Gates for belts/hoses

These are just some off the top of my head. Basically you get what you pay for. If it seems too cheap to be true it usually is. Also look for stuff with lifetime warranties. That means they stand behind the product.

But yes, I wish Scotty would do a national road trip. It seems I'll never get to meet him since he only visits the east coast. 🙁
