Hi, I drive an 06 solara and this doesn't have a door frame on the window, just the glass against the door seal. I do get a significant amount of wind noise sipping in, is there a way to remediate this?
Thank you for your responses.
You might be able to rejuvenate the old rubber seal with something like AT-205 (or a similar product). Of course you could simply replace the rubber seal.
First try using silicone spray, Spray a rag and wipe down the seal with it. (This really should be normal maintenance) It's the least expensive remedy. If it doesn't work, you can try AT205 and as a last resort a new seal.
Thank you @hixster
Will try that.
@grey Chucks video shows another excellent alternative to buying a new seal. Scotty mentioned in a video the 2nd generation Solara was made better/stronger than the first gens. I believe he said this was to help prevent issues with the doors sagging
You might try the "rope trick" - it might work for frameless door glass, depending on the gasket design.

Nice find @chucktobias , have to give 'kudos' to this young man for his ingenuity. Reusing a piece of a seal from a junkyard car.. excellent idea
Thank you @chucktobias @hixster
