Relative compression test 2011 Traverse

Trying to do a relative compression test. Couldn't find a fuel injection fuse or fuel pump fuse to remove. I however have a fuel system control module fuse. Is it the same thing? If not how can I proceed

I remove the FSCM and it still started. I removed the ODD IGNITION COILS and EVEN IGNITION COILS along with the FSCM: cranked but no start. However no reading on the graphing multimeter


Correction: ODD IGNITION COILS and EVEN IGNITION COILS fuses

Remove the FSCM fuse and start the car.  Let it run until it stalls.  Then all the pressure will be out of the system.


I remove FCSM fuse and let it run. It idled until it stalled. I shut it off, and cranked it and then it started and then it stalled. I couldn't get it to just crank so I can obtain the reading.


Keep doing that until it won't start again. There is probably some residual fuel in the lines.  Also, keep a battery charger attached so you don't kill the battery during the compression test process.


I keep getting a flat reading. I've tried getting a reading six times. Please help

From 3 minutes 21 seconds.


1. Fuel control system module fuse removed.
2. Turned on graphing multimeter to mV and graph display.
3. Attached low amp probe to Voltage and Com.
4. Turned on low amp probe to 1mv/100mA.
5. Pressed zero on low amp probe.
6. Attached low amp probe to the negative wire coming off the battery.
7. Cranked engine until I get reading (which I havent)

My negative wire is too big for my current probe. Can I clamp it somewhere else?
