Are there any good aftermarket Remote Starters?

I saw Scotty's video on remote starters and saw the labor and consequences when they go bad. He mentioned that it's ok to have one in a new car if they came from the manufacturer. However, if I'm tempted and want one anyway knowing the risks...are there any possibilities of good quality remote starters and good installers than can put one in that will last?

Not really...they will eventually go bad within a few years and when they do, they create all sorts of electrical problems with the car's electronics. Care has to be taken even when removing them because they're tied into so much and removing incorrectly can lead to problems too. Do what you will (your $), but not worth it imho.
