Hi scotty I drive so much as a courier, I have to do at least 12 oil changes a year. Thinking of buying a reusable oil filter, are they any good and do you recommend any particular type or brand?

Never heard of a reusable oil filter until now lol. Who's even buying those for manufacturers to be selling them?! Just stick with the disposable ones.

I have never heard of such a thing but it sounds like a terrible idea

Buy NAPA gold filters. They're excellent filters and they cost like $3 in bulk quantity.

Where do you buy Napa Gold oil filters for 3 bucks a pop?

NAPA online. $3.09
It was NAPA Proselect actually, which is still a good filter. The Gold was a little bit more.

If I go to rockauto.com - I see OEM grade filters for $3 in single quantities
and if you're ok with economy grade, they are $1.25 each.

Filters don't cost very much.

I would never use a reusable oil filter. Not a good plan.

If you drive that much..just buy in bulk like mountain man said. I'd never buy a reusable oil filter..but I've never heard of one

Unfortunately, there are ppl selling reusable oil filters, pure power is one company, it's 250 for.one..i wouldn't buy one if it was 12 bucks..they say it's a lifetime filter..probably good as lifetime tranny fluid in the long run.no thanks

and yet people swear by reusable air filters

I'd worry less about a faulty reusable air filter than a faulty reusable oil filter

Oil filters are cheap, engines are expensive.  I’d buy a reusable wife before I’d buy a reusable oil filter.

what is your wife change interval?
