Hey I have a 2004 dodge Dakota with a automatic transmission it recently stopped receiving power in reverse but if I put it on jack stands the wheels still turn. What could be the problem because it’s never had issues in reverse?

It sounds like your transmission is shot. It is not delivering enough power to the wheels in reverse to move the vehicle. If lucky it may just be a hinky shift solenoid but you'd need a transmission expert to diagnose it.
