Hi,
I have a 07 GM with 100 K and noticed the drivers side rear "dog ear" extension of the fender is rusting on the bottom. I was wondering with regard to the plastic rocker panels, must they be removed to determine if there is serious rust or can you tell without taking them off?

it probably wouldn't hurt. At least you can clean out all the trapped mud. Likely they're just help on with plastic clips.
