Hi, so I have bought this 2021 Toyota Innova, Manual Diesel last January 19, 2021 and I am just wondering if it is a good investment to have its underside be rubber coated. I have seen that it can protect your under chassis from rust for about 3 to 5 years but I am not so sure if it would not damage the parts inside it. Also, I have found some vids on Youtube saying that it will destroy you car which made me hesitant.
just type it into the search box. This has been discussed several times before.

Don't do it, South Main Auto Repair has a video showing how that stuff traps moisture against the metal and causes rusting. What you want is undercoating that is oil based such as Rust Check, Krown, and Fluid Film. I use Rust Check myself.
Recently built Toyotas have very good anti-corrosion treatment on their metal parts (one of the reasons mechanics like them so much - you don't have to spend a lot of time and energy breaking loose rusted fasteners.)
Do you live where they frequently salt the roads, or close to bodies of salt water? If you look at 10 or 15 year old Toyotas where you live, are they rusty?
It could be very easy to screw up a car/truck if you use the wrong material, or spray where its shouldn't go.
