I have a 2012 Kia Soul 2.0 with 199,300 miles Automatic trans. The only work I have done to it in the 150K miles I have owned it is the A/C blower motor, the radiator cooling fan, and I had the shocks and struts replaced at 150K. Normal tune ups and oil changes. I change the oil every 7,500 miles as the owners manual suggests. On inclines when starting off or moving slowly I get a rumbling and grinding noise from the engine. If I let up un the gas the noise subsides most of the time. I sometimes have to let up a few times though. I am guessing that maybe the oil pump may be going, but I am not sure. I got the Kia from my Mother-in-law at the very end of 2015 with 42K miles. I drive almost all city miles. Used the car in South Florida until Dec 2019 when my family and I moved up to the mountains in Eastern Tennessee. It started making the noise last Nov. Gotta say I love your videos and would comment but Youtube only lets me watch not comment. Thanks ahead of time. Have a blessed day.
Make a video and post it on YouTube and I will listen but it sounds like a serious problem Noah knows soften from inside the transmission
