Hey Scotty-
Long time fan! My question is I've worked on cars for most of my life. I'm thinking about opening my own shop. However, I'm trying to determine if I should go to school or not. I am pretty confident in my abilities just concerned that someone will bring me their car and with all the technology out today. I'd get something I haven't done before and not be able to fix it. I know places like alldata have diagrams etc. but do they offer help if you come across something you haven't experienced before and help you through it?

Well you have to keep learning there's no arguing that but with the internet today you can pick up all kinds of stuff and there's even online resources where you can pay to get advice when you give analytical information that you can't figure out you pay those companies and I help you figure out the problem on any particular car
