I haven't been unable to get a mechanic to give me a straight-up answer about my car. It is eating up oil and I have to change it every three weeks, or else it is bone dry. They all say I need a new motor, could it be something else? If so, what?

One common culprit in modern cars related to burning oil is a clogged or bad PCV Valve.
