Does Scotty ever answer these questions?

Yes he does;  of course he doesn’t answer all of them.  One pattern I have noticed is if a question already has an answer he will skip it.  However, he may still answer that question (despite having answers) on his YouTube Channel.

Scotty is only one man, but he has assembled a team of moderators to help him answer questions.

Scotty will drop in the forum from time to time. He has answered some of my questions both in the forum, and also on his YouTube. But not all of them.

The moderators have been really good about answering questions. Most are folks with years or decades of experience.

And there are some forum that also chime in consistently.

Don’t get sad if he doesn’t answer your question directly. We each only have so much time in the day, and Scotty can’t answer everyone.

But that is why this community is here, so we can all help each other out.

Remember he also has live question answering sessions on Thursday, I believe 11:00 PST

Hey Scotty, got a question here about my car. I got a 2001 Pontiac sunfire with 233,000km on it 5 speed manual trans! I have a code that’s come up rather recent and I scanned it got U1000 so I tried to look it up said something to do with communications etc. That’s about all it gave me. I went into enhanced data and I saw 41 codes stored in there which found weird? Know what the problem could be? Seen this in my buddies trucks well but was stumped on it help if at all
Possible! Battery could be on its way out my only assumption I have given it. And alternator hadn’t ever been replaced either

@Kelsers311 please create a new question thread for your issue. Thank you.

When Scotty himself does not answer your question, you will get people to help you who have combined hundreds of years of automotive experience, skills and knowledge, and it's free.

According to the date, this topic was posted last Feb, doc. It was just exhumed by the newcomer above you, who posted their question in the wrong place. 😉

Nice, thanks.
