I also posted it below just of 1 of the specific videos about this he has, and he made several videos, but still unable to find the specific video where he says is better to replace the fuel cap every 5 years, maybe any of you might help: Here I can post the specific photos I took to show this, so it might help anyone even better.
I created a new folder on my laptop called "Scotty Kilmer Repaired my 2005 Toyota Corolla" Found his videos made years ago, called " Why Your Car Smells Like Gasoline , 12 feb. 2013" as well as other where he recommends the 1st thing to check out is the fuel cap, and he has another video in which he says is better to replace the fuel cap every 5 years that somehow I am still unable to find: Just like he says, the 1st thing worked. He recommends to change the fuel cap every 5 years, because fuel cap seal will not work well, and my 2005 Toyota Corolla was 207,882 miles and 62 days away from his 16 years since new, and never had the fuel tank cap replaced, never, it was simply academic, no need to do his other recommended steps, having already performed the required tune up, and other basic maintenance. I paid for the original Toyota fuel cap, $27.00 plus tax, $30.11. And it was fixed. I can't post the photo here: the new fuel cap, is perfectly white inside: the original fuel cap removed, was dark orange like taking color from the gasoline over all those years . . . . Thanks Scotty, I will pay watching the commercial ads before during and after the videos even more. The new folder could be called, "Scotty made me avoid a dealer who tries to sell you the kitchen sink once again" . . . Thanks
