Scotty, my mom said her car was acting funny so I took it for a test drive. While driving the car dies when I was going 40mph. No warnings just shut off. I managed to pull it over and after a few attempts it restarted. Then getting on the highway it started jumping and felt like it wouldn't shift into a higher gear and roms revved high and wouldn't get above 45mph and jerking like trying to shift. It just started doing this and she just had the engine rebuilt. I'm stumped I was thinking maybe mass airflow or idle control valve possibl. sounds like it's misfiring badly. Possibly not getting enough fuel.
Are any malfunction indicator lamps illuminated?

you should bring it back to the shop that did the work for problems that arise. I hope you got paperwork and a guarantee on the work they did.
