Hi Scotty!

Would you have any insight on european cars? Do the same principles apply let's say on Toyotas as in the US? Considering the manufacturing is different.
Especially in Eastern Europe (Hungary, we mostly have our used cars from Germany)

If you know of any particular brand or manufacturer, that is highly reliable in this region, that'd be awesome!

If not, any general advice we can follow?
It is very much appreciated as always!

THank you!

That is a good question. It is known that stuff made for Eastern and Southeastern Europe has lower quality than goods for West Europe.

Well, it is known to me that even in Germany they sell cars for east and south about (since a lot of workers come from there) 30% cheaper than those fot western market. So I am leery about a used car imported from Germany because I don't know for which market was made.

But even there Toyota has some reputation of reliability. So do Honda. I see people buy other brands more because they are fans and they can show off with them.

I still see some Golfs of 2nd and 3rd generation on roads.
