Hi Scotti
I have had slow leaks develop on aluminum wheels right after new tires have been installed by a well know tire chain. I brought them back a couple of times and was finally told there was nothing they could do short of replacing the rims because they were pitted at the bead. Is there some way of sealing old pitted rims? The rims are 10 years old.

No, I don't think it's worth effort.
Easier to just top up the pressure once in a while, or replace them.

If you don’t want the expense of buying new rims, find good condition ones in a junkyard..
