Hi, I recently bought a Recaro Ergomed es driver seat( realy lovely), for installation, can I just buy an driver seat from the junkyard and take off the seat padding, and bolt in the new Recaro seat to the rails and brackets of the donor seat?

Bought after market brackets and rails, but they make the seat so low, i had to take it off,my preferred drive height is high.

Also the seat belt receptor cables are intertwined with some other cables underneath the seat, so I was hoping on just getting the exact same seat with everything in place and bolting the rails to the new seat and use a frame already designed to fit by the manufacturer

Is this feasible? Does anyone know where I can find a video to help me achieve this, taking off the seat padding from the junkyard donor seat I will buy.

Will like the comfort of the new seats but with thesame drive height of my oem seat.
