Ands it’s people leaning their seat then we see it in the rear window 14 year old son is also curious on why people do it.. and then they can't see over the weel 😆 It just bugs me on why they do that. I see the seat out of the rear window then I see the guy leaned back struggling to see. And then they would drive bad

I once knew someone in college who was 6’5” and owned a Honda Civic. The only way he could fit and be comfortable as a driver was to pull the driver seat back and recline it.
Why do people do any stupid stuff? ... because they're idiots.

Early reclining seats only have a limited number of positions available. A littler further back from the steering wheel can be more comfortable than too close to it even if leaning back a little more than desired.
