Good evening Scotty,
I am a subscriber and a fan of your You Tube Channel.
Presently I have a 2021 VW Jetta S Model.
I have a 39 month lease.
My last final lease payment is in October 2024. The Vehicle is due back to the VW Dealership on November 9, 2024.
I don't want to pay the end of the lease disposition fee of $395.00 to the VW Dealership. I have owned / leased a total of 8 VW's. Now it is time for a change to acquire a Toyota. My parents now have their 3rd Lexus Vehicle.
Any advice on selling the Vehicle to Car Max to purchase the VW at the end of the lease. Buyout is $10,825.00.
I am looking into buying or leasing a 2022-2024 Toyota Camry LE , or SE- 4 Cylinder FWD, Non - Hybrid.
Best regards,

Selling TO Carmax is usually OK. Buying from them can be OK, though they aren't know for giving the best deals.
I would be more nervous with some of the other national used car chains, like Carvana. In the last few years they have had some major legal problems, and I wouldn't trust the check to clear.
Thanks.

Well if you can get more money than you pay for it go right ahead. Definitely don't keep it though. Volkswagens are endless money pits as they age
Thanks. I know that, about VW being a money pit . That is why I would only lease them . All of the VW's have problems at the 2nd & 3rd year time frame. I am done with VW once my lease agreement is ended.
