Where is the best place to list one’s car to sell it privately? I wanting to consider selling mine.

There's the list that guy Craig puts out, a lot of people seem to like it. Sometimes just putting a "For Sale" sign in the window with the car parked where people can see it will work.

Lots of options.  Depends how much you want to spend, how expensive your car is, and how broad a market you want to reach.  In rough order of class:

  • FB Marketplace
  • OfferUp
  • Craigslist
  • ebay
  • Cars.com
  • Autotrader
  • Hemmings (mostly classics)

Even though I'm "up in years", I have bought my last two cars from my mother-in-law, so fortunately bypassed all the dealership and buying crap you have to go through. Think I'll look on Autotrader and Cars.com to see if what I'm looking for (2018-2019) Toyota Corolla are available near me so I can take to my mechanic prior to buying. I know used car prices are still a bit elevated, so we'll see. I can afford the prices, just hate getting screwed. Thanks so much for your recommendations. You've been very helpful

park it next to a very busy road (ideally one that slows to a crawl during rush-hour) with a sign in the window.

If it has working AC, put that on the sign too.

Nextdoor.com is a neighborhood-based community site. I would list there instead of the list of Craig, as you would get fewer out of town dealer/sleazoids.
