Sentra has the following issue. Do you think its a torque converter?

1. Burning oil smell after 10 km of drive.

2. rpm fluctuation when accelerating

3. works well after oil change for about 1000km

4. Intermittently refuses to accelerate with pedal floored

5. Have been using it this way for 2 years

Well, oil smell has nothing to do with that. And if it doesn't accelerate but the engine revs up, then I'll tell you transmission is falling apart which is typical on those. Now. If you floor it and it doesn't do anything it doesn't rev up then. That's a different problem. That means something's wrong with the fuel injection or ignition system. But if it revs up but won't go anywhere that's in the transmission
