Shaking when braking

Good Afternoon,

I have a 2009 Toyota Camry 2.4L with aprox. 200k on the odo. I had a vibration coming from the steering wheel when braking about six months ago and I replaced the front pads and rotors, and that solved the problem temporarily. After about 10k miles the problem has returned. Have you seen this happen before and what could be causing what i believe to be warped rotors so fast? Thank you for your time in advance.

Either a rotor or rotors warped again or you have worn front end parts. Your front suspension should be examined for any problems.

What brand rotors did you install? Although most rotors are made in China now the major brands have better quality control than cheap white-box parts.

Thank you for your help.

The new rotors are carquest brand from advance auto. It is hard for me to believe the rotors have warped that fast without underlying front end issues. I will take it in to see if there is something else going on. If it helps describe the issue at hand, the shaking happens when braking from high speed then actually goes away as the vehicle slows down say below 35. Do you think this could be a CV joint issue?

Look at all those 1 star reviews complaining of warping..

Your symptoms are classic for warped front rotors.

I say either buy a higher quality rotor or go OEM if you want them to last the longest.
