Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or 2023 Honda Civic?

Hi Scotty,

Was looking at both cars to buy as a commuter car to keep until the wheels fall off. What one should I buy. My main concern is that Honda feels cheaper and will fall apart.

that Honda feels cheaper and will fall apart.

In what way does it seem cheaper?

Well I was in this exact same position last year and I went with a 2022 Civic Sport Sedan. The LX and Sport trim have the 2.0L naturally aspired engine which means longer longevity since there is no turbocharged engine. The reason I chose the Civic over Corolla was the interior is much more roomy due to how it is designed and the new body style was just nicer than the Corolla. Also I test drove them both and to me the Civic is a smoother ride. Both of them are good cars so it all boils down to personal preferences.
