I am interested in getting a used Nissan Armada, 05 to 12 year model preferably a 4x4. I have heard Scotty talk about Nissan problems and didn't know what he thought about the Armada. And if there are any specific flaws to look out for. Thanks

They don't age well. I'd consider another vehicle that is more reliable like the Sequoia.

What is the issue that they don't last as long? I have heard from several owners that have had no major issues and have lasted 200k plus. Im trying to see if they were just lucky or what?

The transmissions, as a start, are notorious for problems. The engines tend to live around 100k - 150k miles before needing replacement. Lots of electrical issues, but those are the big ticket items.

For Nissans they are OK but they tend to have problems as they age.

I have problems as I age too. Lol, I'm not looking to get a "500k mile Toyota" here. But I worry do they have bad transmission failures or their cats are a problem?

By age I mean after 10 years or even earlier.
They aren't well made cars. For example, all the sensors start going bad and the 2000s+ Nissans have a tendency ot have their interior fall apart their engines have problems I'm not an expert but I wouldn't recommend buying one.

Okay thank you. 🙂 🙂
